i don't think those shoes were made to be walking in deep show for 3 miles lol u need a PAC snow boots in those conditions

We made waterproof boots, but they're best used in dry weather or when you go for a cappuccino

Generally even full leather boots, unless you sealed them with seal fat, could "brake" and suck water.
More over, if the snow reach the socks, definitely the water will get in your boots.
All this type of boots, are not made for snow or ice Hiking.
But, Salomon Quest 4 GTX, still can be useful in snow, and with the right type of socks you can be OK...
* don't dry boots near heat, or directly to sun...

be careful with putting glue boots on a radiator. You might reverse the glue bond on the sole. I would just use a fan with glue boots.

Guy wears them for a “3 mile” hike through snow and wouldn’t recommend it ‘cos they got “wet”.🤦🏽‍♂️

They aren’t that water resistant. The tung of the shoe is just cloth so it absorbs the water
