However, it's true that even closest to us, those who genuinely care and acknowledge your illness still sometimes struggle to fully grasp it. Finally, not all people suffering from endogenic depression have suicidal ideation (just saying), yet we also need support.

This rings so true. I was the little sister. My older brother over drank, over ate, over drugged, over everything-ed. He was larger than life, never met a stranger and everyone loved him. Despite all the warnings, doctors advice, love of family, wife, friends he just could not stop doing everything to excess. We lost him at 58.

It’s hard to love someone with mental illness. You love them, you want them to be okay, you try to help but nothing ever works and it seems to us that they don’t even WANT to try.

Tiny dramas seem monstrous when one has no larger world view. It’s like constantly picking at a scab, over and over and over and over and over wondering why it never heals 🤦🏻‍♀️

Focus on something OTHER than yourself and your problems, amazing things will begin to happen.
