You were looking for examples of songs that can use an upper pedal harmony? I stumbled across this singing this singing in my Dixieland 'band, "All Of Me" (in Bb) Words: "All of not take all of me .... can't you see...I'm so lost with". You can sing just a D and it sounds pretty good. Then you have to go to a Eb for "out you". The thing that really makes singing harmony a challenge is that you must sing both to the melody note and to the intended chord. The more complicated the chord progression and/or the melody, The harder it is. I have trouble with melodies that have a lot of arpeggios and/or leaps in them. "Darktown Strutters Ball", for example.
