Rose Quartz is a good example of “The Road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” She wanted things to change for the Gems and the Diamonds, but there was no clean way to get that done.

Rose was an interesting experience by showing her character development in reverse. I strongly believe that if it showed it the other way around the fandom wouldn't be as angry as it is at her.

I really think Future should've had an episode about Steven coming to terms with the fact that, he just doesn't like his mom and that's ok. He's not a bad person from not liking her.

What's terrifying, too, is that compared to the other diamonds, she's the good one! She actually showed the ability to learn empathy to those not at all connected to her and see the flaws in not only the system she was born into but within herself. Rose/Pink is a brilliantly written character because it shows that yes, you can learn from your actions and do better. But you can't erase the harm you made while making this revelation.
