Intra Energy Corporation unveils new gold anomalies

Intra Energy Corporation Ltd (ASX:IEC) managing director Ben Dunn sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss the notable and rapid progress being made at the Maggie Hays Hill Project in the Lake Johnston Greenstone Belt of Western Australia. The project has been a focal point for gold and lithium exploration, with recent mapping and soil sampling programs unveiling new gold anomalies.
The proximity of this project to key mining and processing sites, like the nearby Maggie Hays mine, recently acquired by Mineral Resources to establish a regional lithium processing hub, underscores its strategic significance.
Dunn highlights the success of the current gold exploration program led by principal geologist Todd Hibberd, who has identified multiple mineralised quartz veins and a significant gold in soil anomaly. This work complements the project’s lithium prospects, with outcropping pegmatites and spodumene detections pointing to large-scale lithium anomalies.
The company is preparing for an upcoming drilling campaign in the June quarter to further explore these targets.
