Chronic Total Occlusion Procedure | Best Success Rate At Medicover Hospitals | CTO
Показать описание
In this video, Dr. A Sharath reddy, senior interventional cardiologist, medicover hospitals, speaks about a part of the CTO surgery, at length. Firstly a test is performed to check the track of the main vessel. And then a catheter is passed by. If the catheter gets objected and doesn’t pass by, then a microcatheter injection is given to proceed further.
A straight contrast going down from the RV branch can be observed, which is the main vessel that contains calcium sitting on either side of it. And then the microcatheter is balloon trapped and then the knuckle wire technique is performed. advanced guide wires are used to insert a catheter into the collateral vessels, entering the blocked artery from multiple sides.
The end result shows the good flow of blood in the vessels.
