i was rewatching alien with a friend who i just introduced it to and explained how luka is thought to have superior genes and whatever but he is really weak and she just said maybe they want him to be really weak like for aliens who capture humans like this his weakness is a desirable trait maybe and maybe everyone knew this as a fact but i just realized she must be right about this because aliens want humans to be something for their entertainment only something very fragile from that moment i saw luka completely differently like i felt bad in some amount for him now understood how bad it must have been suffering like that in alien stage again and again losing humanity every day and we shouldn't be hypocrites really tills first opponent didn't even get a chance to perform like how can we think luka is bad for using whatever he can to survive in this show he literally has no one on his side and he is probably dying with the sicknesses he has
