U.S. stocks jump on Wednesday following Fed's interest rate hike

U.S. stocks jumped on Wednesday following the Federal Reserve's biggest interest rate hike in 28 years.
The S&P 500 ended trading up 1-point-5 percent,... to halt a five-day decline.
The Dow added 1-percent,... and the Nasdaq edged up 2-point-5 percent.
The reversal comes as aggressive monetary policy from the Fed gave investors the confidence that the central bank was committed to curbing inflation.
Meanwhile, South Korean stocks plunged on Wednesday ahead of the Fed's announcement,... due to concerns over high inflation and a global recession.
The KOSPI sunk to a 19-month low,.. closing below the 2,500 mark.
The KOSDAQ closed below 8-hundred,.. for a 22 month low.
