an absolute insider tip. Almost unknown here in Europe, I came across this series purely by chance and am simply thrilled. For me, the last episode of season 2 is one of the best I've ever seen in a series. Mr. Inbetween is an Australian masterpiece.

This is honestly speaking my favourite series ever, maybe alongside The Expanse. Super good dark humour, well-developed characters and a great story. Finally, it comes across as natural and unpretentious.

I just finished S2E9 and am on the season finale. I searched for the title to check out some comments to see if others were as impressed as I am. Glad to see I'm not alone. Hats off to Scott Ryan and his skills, both writing and his performance.

I haven’t even watched it, and I can already tell this is going to be fantastic.

Edit 2 weeks later: I have watched it now and it is unquestionably one of the best TV shows I’ve ever seen.

As Tony Soprano was completely embodied by James Gandolfini and Omar Little by Michael K Williams, Scott Ryan IS Ray Shoesmith.

It’s hard to credit a performance of this calibre to someone who has essentially never acted before.

To add to that is the fact that Scott wrote the whole thing?!?!

This is genuinely something truly exceptional and if you get the chance to watch it, I can tell you now, this will enter your library of TV shows you’ll be so glad you watched and you’ll be telling others about it with the same enthusiasm I’m coming out with here.
