I’m the guitarist in my band and I was always mesmerized by the drums of this song, I don’t understand how anyone can dislike this video

When you focus on My Chemical Romance's drums and Bob Bryar's performance you can clearly see that the band was not a simple little Emo band as most people think. the choruses are more melodic and they were emos in the characterization, but between the verses and passage you hear some really heavy hardcore punk.

I personally love this style. For anyone who thinks that the timing is a bit off, it's because most studios actually take the drum parts and put them on a grid to make them sound perfect. It's very hard to duplicate in a live cover, and it's better to appreciate the personality of the cover.

I was never really into My Chemical Romance. My "I have so many feelings that no one understands" band as a teenager had been Smashing Pumpkins, and MCR were a thing when I was already in college. My exposure to Gerard Way was his comics like Umbrella Academy and later Doom Patrol, and those helped me understand why The Black Parade would mean so much to people. It would make for a fantastic comic miniseries.

I keep coming back to this video, not only for the obvious talent being so entertaining to watch, but because of the overwhelming passion and emotion you clearly have! It's incredible to see, and I have been an enormous fan of mcr for many years. That is one of the most passionate songs from one of the most passionate bands. You breathed that passion and used it, fed from it, consumed it, and the result is astounding. Your drumming skills are incredible! That was the perfect song for you to showcase your blatant talent because it mirrored the raw passion you obviously have for drumming. Such a great cover, well done!
