Ray never got enough credit. Gerard is an amazing singer but his greatest talents are his creativity, charisma, and ability to connect with other people. Ray's range and vocal clarity is actually astounding. I'd say he's a more technically gifted singer than Gerard.

Imagine:

You're on your way home and get caught in a terrible rainstorm, so you hurry to the nearest building for shelter - and it just happens to be an old cathedral. As you open the doors, you hear this echoing off the walls of the gloomy interior. Making your way to the sanctuary, you see Gerard standing alone at the altar, singing his heart out.

Call it dumb but I found this whole idea beautiful ^-^
