The EU, the Government of Kenya, and the IFAD-funded Kenya Cereal Enhancement Programme is Revolutionizing small-holder farming through Conservation Agriculture resulting in increased yields in a changing climatic environment in eight Arid and Semi-Arid counties of Kenya . FAO-trained Conservation Agriculture Service Providers leading the way in ensuring the adoption of Conservation Agriculture by smallholder farmers. Conservation Agriculture is based on three principles: Minimum soil disturbance, Permanent soil cover, and Crop rotation.
