Good afternoon from Peru, I read in a grammar book the following structures:
It looks as if + SUBJECT + VERB
it seems that + SUBJECT + VERB
it appears that + SUBJECT + VERB
According to your video, can I use it seems + as if + .... As well?

Do they have to go with 'as if ' or I can just say " it appears he's not gonna show up"

Hello! I have a question. Do Americans say "like" instead of "as if" for example: It appears/looks like she is upset / He's 40 but it seems like he is 30 (my opinion)?

But we can use "appear" to give an opinion based on an evidence, like in the example given: "It appears as if the weather is going to change." In this case we need to have evidence in order to say it, so I don't quite understand what's the difference in that example with relation to "look" and "seem". I think all three verbs are used interchangeable here to talk about predictions based on visual or physical evidence. Could you please help me, teacher? Thank you in advance.

so, 'looks' includes 'seems' meaning?

It seems = මට හිතෙන විදිහට නම්/ මට පෙනෙන හැටියට නම්
