Also, in case you'd be interested: you CAN just destroy the used tombstones and nothing bad will happen with your dupes. You can recycle a specific allotted space for dead dupes with the memorials by destroying and rebuilding as needed instead of having a ton of individual tombstones stretching out everywhere.

Rotting food: Placing food in carbon dioxide slows rotting. Build a fridge in carbon dioxide and give your Farmer a 'High' priority for these three priorities: Farming/Cooking/Supply

Main quest: Air-conditioning to keep your mealwood alive (and also dreckos).

Four high rooms have good air circulation.
Floor one: Carbon collection.
Floor two: Heat Carbon dioxide.
Floor three: Destroy hot Carbon dioxide.

1) Half way across floor two, build a thermo regulator out of gold amalgam.
2) Build a 'Gas pipe thermo sensor' immediately to the left of the white input of the thermo regulator.
3) Build a 'Gas bridge' immediately to the right of the white input of the thermo regulator. (white on the left, green on the right).
4) Use a gas pipe and connect the sensor, the white thermo regulator input and the white input of the gas bridge together.
5) Connect the green thermo regulator output to the green gas bridge output.
6) Use an automation wire to connect the gas temperature sensor to the thermo regulator. Set the temperature to 50f.

The gas pipes connected to the thermo regulator are going to be chilled down. Build a long gas loop to cool down your mealwood.
1) Start building the gas pipe from the green gas bridge output.
2) Go through the mealwood farms.
3) Finish the loop by connecting the the pipe to the 'Gas pipe thermo sensor'.
4) Fill the gas pipe with hydrogen gas.
6) Connect the power for your thermo regulator to your coal generator.
7) If the gas doesn't rotate smoothly, delete and rebuild 2 maybe 3 gas pipes to remove some gas packets.

To destroy the heat build a carbon skimmer halfway across floor three.
