I've been a city gal my whole life, living in apartments, but I find videos like these so inspiring. Maybe one day I'll be fortunate enough to have property like this including animals. Keep it up! 👌🏼🌉🌃

The rainwater recovering system is an excellent idea. I plan to do the same thing on my house. I caught the holies with my garden this past summer with the drought in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Great coop! The only thing I would improve is the perches, which should be 4” wide so their feet and legs are protected from cold when they roost. 4” is standard size, especially in colder areas.

Sweet coop, would they get cold in the winter with an open floor like that?

I’m with your cousin right now, Martha.

Isnt the floor of coop and ramp hard to clean? I would think with a piece of plywood you could sweep the shavings etc out the back end but remove ramp or put another piece of wood down

My husband and I moved into a camper to save money for some land. We want to homestead and my husband has a primitive skills school here in VT. Although with the prices we may end up in Maine where land is cheaper.. I'm curious as to what state you're in and I've never heard of fall carrots.
I love watching channels like yours as it makes me learn so much about that lifestyle.

How many does this hold? And what abouts did it cost? Really seems like a solid design.

My question is: how fast can you safely move it around?
