Hayley and I (David) drop floor planks into an aquarium for three days (shown in a jaunty time lapse at 3:19), and then pulli them out [at 5:59] to look at the differences between water resistant and fully waterproof flooring. It's pretty eye opening!

This is very accurate. I installed LVP at my fixer upper. The washer machine broke and flooded my entire house for a day!. The carpets were done for but the LVP did not flinch it was as good as when I first bought it. Buy LVP!

Thank you, someone who finally proved what pet owners want to know! I have a house filled with flooring that was supposedly "waterproof" with lifts, peeling and was not replacing till I saw this. Thanks again

Awesome review I wish all reviews were as accurate as yours!! Question can I use it as a counter top? I saw a video of a lady turning left over planks into a beautiful faux wood dining table only cost her less then50 bucks. Or what about bathroom counter top? Can I seal it ? Butcher block counter top is making a comeback

My basement flooded I have waterproof floors down though but in some places where the water came in if I press hard enough it comes up through the ground is it fine to leave it down because it’s waterproof or should i get a contractor to take the floor back up let it dry and re install?

I have this in my dinning room, there are issues: Moving chairs will leave scratches on it. If you missed a sand or rock when cleaning the floor before installing, you will see the stand up rock daily in the middle of the floor.
