This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

TRQ Check your Comments!! and then edit your video. Torque on the Strut Assembly top bolts is NOT 66 ft lbs. Several people have already snapped off bolts using the torque specs you give in the video. Ludkily I read the comments here first. I looked them up and for the 2011 Fusion 3.0L V6 the torque is 29 ft lbs. It may be lower for other models as I see a lot have posted 22 ft lbs. In any case you have the torque 250% to 300% TOO HIGH. You need to edit this video and correct it!!!

Just put in two new struts on my fusion in my home garage. This is the best video on it that I found, many thanks!

@trq the nuts at the top should be closer 22-26 ft lbs according to other sources I've found. Thanks everyone for the comments. Saved me from breaking my struts.

The 3 shock absorber upper mounts nuts are torque spec of 22ft lb I almost broke mine trying to tighten to 66ft lbs like he stated but everything else is good and worked well

Thanks for the torque specs! And good idea you had to torque the upper 3 bolts with the wheel on the ground. I also mark the position of my old strut bolts onto the strut mount before I remove them just bc I think it helps the alignment not to need a large adjustment.
