Those tabs holding everything together are common on all artools stencils. They're there to hold everything together so that the stencils don't get wrecked before they're sold. I usually just use an x-acto blade to cut it out & shave it down, then a bit of 600 grit sandpaper to get it smooth when needed to ensure the tab doesn't become part of the stencil.

Hi Dan, Thanks for the video I was going to buy these but I think I will give them a wide birth now. Over £6 each for a 3.5 x 2 inch template and I have to finish off the job of cutting them out!!! What puzzles me is "why aren't they fully cut and released from the Mylar sheet and put in the case"? They could then be posted without any worries of them getting damaged! Thank you for the video I've been wanting to purchase these and wasn't too sure about it so your video was really informing thank you also do you happen to know the price on them? It looks like it still stays with the little nib from exacto

Love most of your content, but this one didn't do much for me... Would be great if you did more than simply cut them out and show yourself putting them into the case... Let's see those shields / templates in action.
