Triumph Bonneville | Long Term Review

With a little inspiration from Doug DeMuro, I am finally ready to try my hand at a full motorcycle review. This video has been a long time coming.

This is my review of the 2014 era Triumph Bonneville T100 with the 865cc EFI parallel twin engine. I rate it a score of 31/50 in the Daily Categories and 23/25 in the Long Distance Trip Categories. That's a total score of 54/100.

Acceleration Metric Rating based on time it take to accelerate from 50 to 100km/h (31-62mph) in second gear.
less than or equal to 1.50 seconds = 10
1.51 to 2.00 seconds = 9
2.01 to 2.50 seconds = 8
2.51 to 3.00 seconds = 7
3.01 to 3.50 seconds = 6
3.51 to 4.00 seconds = 5
4.01 to 4.50 seconds = 4

Been riding 50 years and had a few bikes in this time. Bought a low mileage 2008 bonneville 865cc fuel injected couple years back. Few simple mods: small tinted screen, ohlins rear shocks. Staintune exhausts. Remove breathing restrictions. Remove air intake snorkle and add a bellmouth air intake. Pull back risers. Crashbar with highway pegs makes it a great all rounder. Best bikes in the world

I have literally the same bike down to the colors. It's been a great bike and I plan to hold on to it. (said every biker ever).

Hey buddy, Love your bike it was one identical to your is why I fell in love with the Bonneville. anyway I have a 2012 SE, I want to change the handle bars as well the rise on the stock bars, not to my tastes, just wondering what bars you have, if you happen to know the rise and pull back on them, also did you notice a significant difference in seating position. Love your bike love the vid.

Where did you take your triumph for service ? Argyll ? Mine has a front end little wobble starting at 80 km/hr Good review
