I recently made Carne en su Jugo, a delicious dish where the meat is cooked in its own juices 😋 and a lot of you asked for a version with lentils. LENTEJAS EN SU JUGO INGREDIENTS:
For the lentils:
► 7 cups of water
► 1 lb lentils
► Salt to taste
For the carne en su jugo:
► 1 lb bacon
► 5 chiles gueros (yellow peppers)
► 8 green onions
► 2 lbs carne ranchera
► Blend seasoning (black pepper, salt and garlic)
For the salsa
► 1 1/2 lbs tomatillo
► 4 jalapeños
► 2 cups of water from where we boiled tomatillos
► Small bunch of cilantro
► 1/4 small white onion
► 3 garlic cloves
► 2 tbsp chicken bouillon
To serve
► Cilantro
► White onion
► Radish
► Avocado
