I think Mac is trying.. they have reformulated their sign thick foundation to light weight and released face all over tint and that bouncy blushes!
They were only a pro artist brand like MUFE and Bobbi brown but I think they got away from that and did smthing to younger audience

I know several of the make up release IG pages have had issues with brands copyright striking them. They were forced to start new pages and lost all their followers etc. they may show a pic of something someone bought that Sephora or some retailer sold then brand said ifs not released yet and reported them. ND does that a lot. You need to try to figure out why your stuff is always leaked or sold early and leave these people alone. They aren’t sneaking into factories gettin pics. Anyway you can see it makes me so mad. Big brands bullying small creators. Even Chic Profile official is on like her 4th page. A lot of them went to Patreon to avoid issues.

MAC packaging is so classic to me! I hate when they change anything like when they updated the mineralize powders. I think their lane is classic and the gold standard. I really, really want to see more MAC vault collections! I want fleshpot to be brought back. The barbie and hello kitty collections were iconic. there were also some gray and black collections I loved but sadly I back2mac'd everything when it got old instead of keeping it for memories lol

I miss the impact that MAC had. I remember going to the mall super early and waiting in line when a new collection dropped. Or when they had those stations in the middle of mall and did mini makeovers. To me MAC wasn’t just makeup it was true artistry, the MAC artists always looked sooo cool and they had the best tips because they were all actually makeup artists, unlike Sephora or Ulta.

I wish i liked lip products. I basically only wear a clear lip balm. I hate the feeling of most lip products on my lips. I have super tiny lips too and i just look stupid with pretty much anything other than something close to my natural lip color on. I can do lip liner with clear balm. Everything else feels nasty, thick, goopy.

it seems like every brand is in competition with one another and "copy" each others releases. that is what marketing is all about. as a whole, i think rare beauty is much more successful compared to rhode and a lot more accessible. just because one product release doesn't appeal to one consumer doesn't mean it won't appeal to others and that is the whole point, right?

Never tried rhode, Never loved rare. I mean the rare beauty brushes are cool. I like the powder highlighter a lot. I've not really loved anything else I've tried.

Do you have pets? My face gets super itchy after makeup application bc i swear no matter how much i clean everything including my brushes, cat hair is everywhere and sticks all over my face lol
