I am a student of iem and my advice to everyone is plz don't join here
Placements and quality have dropped significantly
And things have gone for the worse
Despite being a student of cse we were provided with computers having intel pentium chips. Also 2 people were made to share a single single pc
If we tell the faculties anything regarding this they would tell us to bring our own laptops from home and would not care. If we got stuck somewhere while doing program the faculties would tell us to look on google
They would always keep you in dilusion by comparing themselves to bits and nit(video is available on youtube of iem director comparing the college with bits pilani). The management would openly lie to us about the college having better placement than jadavpur university which is not true. Also we were threatened to not defame the college outside or we would face problems during placement
Both iem and uem are almost the same

Bhai u are saying wrong, sabka placement hita hai bhai, uem Kolkata me, iss tarh bol dia tm views ke liye ki bekar hai, unitech candore me jaoo and survey karke dekho almost 1k plus sirf uem Kolkata ke h student dikhenge, to aise video mat banao . Hamlog ke seniors Google me bhi placed, many of my friends ya juniors who were not capable unka skills develop karwayaga Gaya Tapas sir ke class se and now everyone is pled, please take some knowledge before making such videos. Uem Kolkata guarantees placement, thords effort sabko Dena h hota hai . Mere 2020 batch ke sare bande placed hai
