Resting- Eastern gray squirrel

This is an example of resting behavior by an eastern gray squirrel in Auburn, AL. Notice the relaxed posture, forepaws are forward under the body and the tail is not in a rigid position. The squirrel is also not looking around or staring as it would be if it were displaying alert behavior.
