Adventures in Digitakt Midi Sequencing

Elektron Digitakt + Korg Gadget + Korg Volca + Audiokit Synth One.

The Digitakt is playing drum sounds, and sequencing the Volca and software synths. I used the StepPolyArpUnit app to record the arp patterns into the Digitakt midi channels. Kord Gadget and SythOne are mixed in AUM and are fed out of the iPad and into a mixer, along with the Volca Bass. Mixer output and Digitakt output going into a Behringer UMC404 HD, with a little bit of compression and EQ applied in Ableton.

Nice work! The synth patches are great, and I like the melody. Keep it up!

What’s the use of korg gadget playing if you are using the sounds from it? I don’t see any midi on the screen.

I've been enjoying your combination vids. If you have time to answer this question I'd appreciate it. I've never grooved with a groovebox, I've sold off elektron octa, mpc2000, korg esx etc. But still would like to have one that I can connect with, now I know you cannot guess that for a person, but my point is I've been considering the MC707, Digitakt, or MPC Live. I already have the TR8S and MX1. I seem to go round and round on those 3 products for varied reasons. I'm leaning more MPC Live but then something about the MC707 has some appealing features. I wish I could sit with all 3 for a while and choose but that is hard to pull off. Do you have any thoughts or preferences? or Do you just find a place for all 3?
