Where did Hulk go upon leaving Earth on the Sakaaran spacecraft in She-Hulk Episode 2? Erik Voss breaks down the possibilities: Sakaar to deal with his son Skaar, a dilemma tying in with Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, or perhaps a crisis with the Negative Zone, Nick Fury, Carol Danvers, and Kamala Khan in The Marvels?

Hulk’s flying to Universal to clear up his contract issues.

I love how Voss doesn't limit himself to the World War Hulk storyline that all Marvel commenters have cited and tries to come up with more theories. Definitely agree that Banner bringing his research suggests that he's not going to wherever to fight but as a consultant

He has the binder on how to be a Hulk, so he can help teach his son how to be a Hulk.

Wouldn;t it make sense that when the banner and hulk identities became integrated, Banner gained access to hulk's memories?

Time moves differently on Sakaar, Loki had been there for 2 weeks when Thor first arrived but it had only been a few days for him
I think Hulk was there for more like 15 years or so

Hulk was always going to heal. He has a healing factor that I believe surpasses wolverine. It just took a while because it was fried by 6 infinity stones going off at once.

I think something being missed here is that the Bruce and hulk personas are now merged. It’s not Bruce in the hulks body, he clearly states multiple times that he MERGED them. Smart hulk is both identities as one, and as such would most likely have access to hulk’s memories

Can we all stop for a moment and compliment Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, and the rest of the main creative team at Marvel? They've done such an amazing job of assembling an interconnected story that literally gives us space to analyze everything we hear and see. Outside of the DC Animated Universe, Marvel has some of the best storytelling elements in major Hollywood productions. They've made this 37 year old kid, who grew up reading comics, extremely happy that I get to witness them play out in live action.

Hear me out. We don't actually know how long Hulk was on Sakaar. Thor says he hasn't seen Hulk in 2 years since Ultron. Also in the same movie Loki arrived on planet weeks earlier then Thor despite traveling through the same portal. 2 years is plenty of time for Hulk to have a few good adventures but who's to say the portal he took didn't put him on planet at some point in the past. This could attribute to the extended amount of time and control the Hulk persona had and why the Banner form aged so much in "2 years"(characters age is different from the actors age)

The simplest answer is that they're setting up Hulkling who's another Young Avenger. I could easily see them swap his father to Hulk which makes a lot more sense with the name vs the comic origin and also ties into the conflict in Captain Marvel

As for recognizing the ship, it could be when the 2 alters merged they got the memories of both. And Given he is bringing his book on how to control the hulk, maybe it's to help his son, maybe Skaar trashing Sakaar and they need Hulk to help calm him down.

Maybe when joining Hulk and Banner their memories merged as well.

One thing I like about this is like how mcu heroes are doing their own thing and the characters are actually moving the mcu plot . Like " something's going onn let me investigate .. whats the worst thing that can happen. " No problem going to another planet

In the comics, Hulk's warbound included Korg and Miek. Since they have been still been active in the MCU, it's possible that Korg has given Hulk some information on Sakaar in the five plus years following the blip.

Oh he figured out the controls the first time. He was hurt (emotionally) and left earth on purpose.

Question: when banner merged the Hulk and Banner identities and became Smart Hulk, would that also merge the Hulk’s memories and Banner memories? Not sure if that’s how it works but it is something to consider

I don't know if I agree Bruce has no memory of Sakaar. Ragnarok takes place before he combines the "brains and the brawn" which makes me think in Endgame he has both Hulk and Banner's memories.

I think with the multiverse and timeliness breaking down, Hulk is being summoned to Sakaar to face the Maestro. It would make sense as a film. Let Ruffalo play both roles. Maybe even introduce Rick Jones.

My problem with the idea that Bruce didn’t know things about Sakaar because it was Hulk was the only one there falls a bit flat for me because “Smart Hulk” is a *combination* of Bruce and Hulk. Hulk (and his memories) are still in there, and now merged with Bruce’s consciousness and brainpower.

“His alter ego didn’t know how to operate the controls”… unlikely, Hulk cut off Natasha on purpose. He’s not a mindless Hulk, he understands, has friends and can follow directions as shown in Avengers 1.

I feel like they're testing out "smart Hulk" as a preliminary for Amideus Cho, who'd just be young smart Hulk. If people don't like smart Hulk they won't like Amideus, and might replace him with another rage monster-like character
