don't think she's dead, to me this just seems like an image that was spread around on Korean forums (oldest post i found, on thisisgame in 2013-07-17) -- possible that's how those rumors about her formed, and then they managed to spread outside of those forums, eventually reaching english-speaking sides of the internet and blowing up since, slightly uncanny but cute girl + madeup backstory = awesome internet mystery. there's probably been more cases than just this one that people can recall, it's almost like a chainletter lol
