The camera lens is a sapphire blend that is harder than glass or ceramic the lenses protrude slightly off the lens ring. That’s the scratch.

I sold my X to buy the 12 as it was my year to upgrade (3 yr using X). But after seeing this year's release, I just went ahead and bought the S20+
Really disappointed with the new iPhones. Same display as last yr, big bezels and notch, no 120hz, even poorer battery life than iPhone 11 series, no accessories in the box, etc etc.
Finally, after using s20+, now I know what I was missing out on.
Now watching Saki's videos to get the most out of my new phone 😃😄

Sure I'd love USB-C and a 120Hz screen.
But I'd also love for Samsung not to drop resolution down when using the 120Hz and to stop shoving pop up and notification ads down my throat for every new product they launch.
Point is, ain't none of us getting everything we want.

The ceramic shield was never claimed to be any more scratch resistant... It was however supposed to be more break proof... please get your facts straight

Am I the only one who gets uncomfortable with the pulling by the cord of the magnetic charger? Apple cords are not exactly known to be resistant.

The ceramics shield is about break protection, not scratch resistance . And a few YT channels already tested it and proved it’s that hardest to break glass among all smartphones existing.
Apple never claimed is more scratch resistant.
