We plant oats in the fall! No need in spring in northern Wisconsin!

I just don’t get any argument that anything is easier and cheaper overall than perennial clover. Especially with liquid lime and fertilizer utilizing an atv and sprayer. Simply frost seed and spray. You can get by mowing but add another spray if you have weed issues. With a little upkeep it’s not hard to have a good stand of clover for five plus years. Nothing is cheaper or easier in the long run…
