Why would that be disappointing? Curved screens have almost no practical use, they are prone to accidental touches and are brittle compared to flat screens. Glad to see they are going back to flat screens.

Any prospective buyers should steer clear of the initial launch and research whether this series disconnects from cellular (mobile data connections) like the 6 and 7 series. I wouldn't go near it personally and it amazes me how many reviewers don't even mention this absolutely phone breaking 'bug' as Google call it.

Few issues that Google has to fix it. Otherwise, it is pointless that Google continue to release new Pixel annually. Global 5G network support issue, network connection intermittent issue, high battery consumption issue, slow charging issue, slow fingerprint authentication.

Why only 1600 peak brightness in Pixel 8 Pro? Don't they know Chinese brands and even Apple have already crossed 2000 nits mark?

I have the pixel 7pro, good camera and good performance but keeps crashing on certain apps, Bluetooth is also temperamental, hope some of these issues will be fixed with the next update. I had the Huawei p20 pro before uploading, the p20 pro had no issues with anything.

Curved displays look and feel premium. Android flat displays don't feel premium as Iphones do for some reason

For me it doesn't matter how good their camera and software is, I know its battery is still gonna suck cause of the Tensor chipset as it is Exynos only with another name and what's the use of having the best camera and software experience when you need to charge often in comparison to other phones.
