I love the Weeks and I recommend it for newbies and the planner-hesitant. The tiny page size actually helps me be creative as there is less white space to fill and therefore I am less intimidated, so between my appointments, observations, etc, I can throw in tiny hand drawn icons or purchased stickers and not have to worry about aesthetic, because everything looks good with a tiny splotch of colour here and there.

Love seeing the Weeks appreciated as the gem it is!

New Hobonichi convert here. Between you and Helen at TCMC, I finally got over my reluctance (the shadowing bothered me) and gave it a try. I am in planner euphoria! Thanks for helping me get past my shadowing aversion! BTW, it's not as bad in person as it is on camera.

I’ve been in a Weeks consistently since 2015. Always as my EDC and I’ve used 2 per year (1 for work one for family stuff) since 2017. Love love love how easy they are to both take along all the time - and how much information I can squeeze in there

Julie, I definitely purchased a techo and weeks because of your cousin planning videos. Before using the weeks, I bought a new planner every 2 or so months which was so frustrating. I was on the fence about yellow paper but I loved everything else about it so I don't even notice it anymore. I also was worried about the size of my handwriting so I use a much more fine point pen now. 🖊 Thank you for this video, Amazing!

I love the weeks- I have used it for EDC . BUT just recently I switched it to my nursing school planner and it is a game changer ! I always get the mega weeks and only use fountain pens, watercolors, and functional stickers to help guide my eyes to due dates, tests, quizzes, and etc . The notes section I would use for informational things and tab them to so i can reference things . The front index page I track my clinicals and hours . It's such a BANG for your bucks and I would most definitely buy it again for 2024 . The hobonichi weeks mega is here to stay even when I finish school, I would use it for edc when I am out and about . I just am not drawn to the stickers, sticker kits, and decorative in the weeks- i love to use it functionally . I absolutely love the crinkling of the paper and ghosting has grown on me . The right page of the weekly spreads are AWESOME - it gives a structure BUT gives you a page to freehand things and change things up from week to week .

i LOVED the Cousin in 2022, bought a new one for 2023. started seeing lots of posts of people using their Weeks. so 3 weeks into January i was itching to try it and now i just got a Weeks Mega!!

ETA: i am a very minimalist planner and i barely ever decorate my pages. i also don't have that much to even plan, i'm not that busy of a person lol. so i felt like i had so much empty space in my Cousin. so like you said, everything in my Cousin fits in my Weeks - just more compact :)

Ive been using the weeks for years and is the only “planner” that works for me. I use sticker kits and also just pen, markers and washi. It fits my planning style perfectly. I love the size, the layout and the notes pages in the back and the fact that it fits in my purse. It took me awhile to find the right pen that doesnt smear, but I just love this little book! It has everything I need in a planner!❤

I am in LOVE with my Techo in the A6 size. That besting said, I really am thinking of getting a weeks for school. I am filling up my techo so fast.

If anyone wants a super super cheap journal with tomoe river paper, you can buy last year's hobonichis for like 5 bucks. Cousins or something like that. Filled with basically blank pages. Wonderful

Glad you love it. Weeks is not for me though I’ve used it several times in the past. The size isn’t a fit for me so I don’t use it as my planner but even if the size worked I’d be using the KINBOR or another weeks size planner as I much prefer them to the Hobo weeks. The yellow paper makes my eyes hurt when using it and I don’t like the lost functional space on the pages. And overall the pages look clutter to me with the colors they use for the paper and the dark print and the extra quotes and stuff. But I know many love it. I just prefer other brands in this size if I were to use this size.

I never realized how much I loved off-white colored paper until I started using it. Lol. Midori or hobonichi weeks work great for me. Yes, I love the Cousin too, but that Weeks... Every time I try to avoid it, it draws me back in 😂. I love it.

I never thought I would need a weeks until I needed to carry my monthly on the go. It makes sense to me and I just needed reassurance that I wouldn’t hate it. TY❤
