That happened during one of our shows after the character walked off and the actor was like “STOP TOUCHING MY GYATT” and everyone in the audience heard, even my friend and I in the lighting booth 😭

When i did Les Mis the guy who played Javert whispered "boom dead" after jumping off the stage but he didn't realize his mic was still on and everyone heard 😭😭

One time during a rehearsal I was understudying the lead role about to sing the whole freaking solo in front of everyone for the first time and somebody said “my dad has diarrhea and my dog died” and my director was yelling at the people backstage and I was just standing by myself on stage trying not to burst out laughing turns out my friend was playing bit life backstage 😭

When we did newsies at my highschool I was about to start singing king of New York (I was racer) and all we could here was our Jack Kelly singing “WORKING 9 TO 5” 😂😂

My theater had the opposite problem, the mics would randomly cut out on the cast while they were on stage 😭 (usually during their solos too 💀), sometimes it’s not bad bc they can project, but other times it’s BAD 😭😭

Middle of a CHOIR PERFORMANCE music started then cut off cause of technical issues, all you hear is “oh damn they’re edging him” from someone backstage. This was our senior show and when I tell you he was FURIOUS- we all were cause someone RUINED his solo 😭😭
