Great song…I love this group. My first thought was Kind of A Drag. I had just graduated. Summer of ‘67 was very special. The very next summer I was in boot camp. Thanks for the memories!

1967 -2023 Still rocks and the lyrics still rings a bell somewhere, somehow. Legends do not fade away, they just get finer like wine. Am 74 now and still listen to this - glad they were in our time.

Fitst time I heard that song was on an odlies station back in 1992. I thought it was a black soul group, turned out to be the Buckinghams!! Been my favorite ever since along wirh "Don't You Care?", "Hey, Baby (They're Playing our Song" and my PERSONAL favorite "Kind of A Drag".

For me, this was a massive step up for The Buckinghams. "Kind Of A Drag" sounded 'cheesy' to me, and I didn't care much for "Susan", but this record was beautifully performed and produced, so I bought the 45 (with a picture sleeve!). I don't think that I've ever actually seen them on TV, so this video is much appreciated. Thanks, Smurf (or Sammy).
