To get any cuff to have that "Baum" sound upon inflation simply substitute a Baum bulb. The cuff will now sound and inflate like a Baum

Baum does make a fine mercurical sphygmomanometer. However, it doesn't inflate as quietly as a tycos cuff. Just think of all the lovely young ladies who had they"re blood pressures checked with this instrument.
