I’m for sure the third. I intend to get good at both but three is better cuz both is better than one😂❤🎉

I am best at writing solos in advance and writing songs or playing with feel all over the fretboard in any mode

And I’m best at stringing modal changes together even in the sane or different place in solos or playing an easy slide blues traveler sublime rock blues or jazz style … but my jazz though beautiful sounds more like a sax would play. A bit basic and I’m working on that but its trilly and pretty

And I write songs that sound like they are some of the best shredding ever and not that shredding is hard

But what I play sounds incredible but it’s not really hard.

I think it deserves to be famous for sure

But it’s not hard.

I can play shreddy songs I really focus on improv and writing.

I’m always trying to find more depth in my understanding of the notes and modes and chromatic in and out notes I will play scales and out of them I play arpeggios but again I’m working trying to get it better.

I can do both its just that shredding i dont hafta put too much thought into it i just kinda do it but to play with feel i hafta lock in if im donig an improv

For the life of me I can´t shred, been playing for almost 30 years. I can do the rhythm, melodic stuff, but all the fast sweeping arpeggios... nope. I use some short sweeps here and there, but none of the fancy 6 string super fast stuff. I envy and admire those who can do it.

I can actually play bass though, not like a guitar, but liek a bass.

Neither… been playing for 9 months and I’m not good at all lol. Definitely improving but no where near as good as I want to be. It’s a little frustrating but I know it’s a process
