Показать описание
Have Yourself a Social Media Christmas with Doctor Erik Fisher better known as "Dr. E..." He joined anchor Gurvir Dhindsa with some helpful tips on how to avoid the drama. See his notes below:
All too often family and fruitcakes can get a little stale around the holidays, and in today’s world we often air our daily activities on Social Media for all the world to see. Depending on what we say and how we say it and even the pictures we may post, feelings can be hurt and sometimes impassable divides can be created between family members for these transgressions. So what etiquette should be observed around what we post to respect everyone.
Here are some guidelines to consider:
• Do unto others...
• If you wouldn’t say it to the person directly, don’t post it. And even then, think again.
• Even if the other person is not on Social Media, don’t post negative content.
• Ask permission from the person and read or show them what you are posting.
• Don’t react too quickly when you feel that you see negative content.
• If something is posted about you that you don’t like, talk to the person directly.
• If you are at an event with friends or family, let people know in advance if you don’t want pictures posted
• Be Excellent to each other.
