In nice_funcs, the open_positions method does have the fetch_balance. However, my account doesn't have any trades yet, so the phe_bal I printed does not have 'positions' key in it. Is that right, or am I missing something?

"def open_positions(exchange, symbol):" is my functions signature because my functions file has no defined default variables. All variables are defined and set on the page that's implementing the functions.

I was also not able to get "open_positions" to work with my account that had no "openpositions" off the bat. I passed in the "symbol" and returned a value but got an "IndexError: list index out of range" error in these 2 assignments, ("openpos_side" and "openpos_size"). I was able to get the code to work when I hard-coded the value '-1', ("openpos_side = openpositions[-1]['side']", ""). The variables were assigned values of "None" and "0" which I thought was interesting. I wondered it would be helpful to add another dimension with the "None" evaluator might be helpful.
