I have hiked and hunted most of southern Oklahoma and have been in swamp bottoms and hills. Nothing but wildlife so far.

Perhaps what he saw was a juvenile. In different regions of the country they are smaller. But yet bigger than the average any human. A lot of eyewitness reports from the south, such as Florida and Louisiana that those beings are much slimmer than the Sasquatch on the West Coast and the Midwest
