Clark is going to be extremely rich and famous with or without the WNBA. Clark will be able to buy a team or the whole league if she wants.

If the Fever are knocked out in the first round, watch the drop off in views and attendance. That alone will tell a significant story.

Let's be real. Clark doesn't need the league to promote her. She has jumped the shark she is the needle. This league is too dumb to call out. They don't know what the hell they are doing. Playoffs are here let's just enjoy the ride. To be honest the NBA needs to straighten this out. There is obviously no acumen in place to do the job.

This is just sickening we all know what's going on here I never watched a WNBA game in my life until CC and mostly nobody else has either

If Aja Wilson were to leave the WNBA how would attendance be impacted? My guess is it would not make any measureable difference. Now if Caitlin were to leave they would be back to flying coach and 3, 000 fans per game. The W just does not get it and to be honest they aren't deserving of what she has done for them. To nor promote her is business malpractice. It will be interesting to see what attendance and viewership numbers do if the Fever is knocked out. I know as a CC fan I wont be watching and thats because I refuse to reward pettiness and stupidity.

The reason C.C. drowns out all the noise is because of her parents and family, I bet the only verification C.C. ever needs is the love of her parents and family, being 1 of the best basketball player's ever is just an added bonus. I never watched basketball b4 C.C. arrived on the scene. To all the haters C.C. has more love surrounding her to deflect all that hate/jealousy and hopefully it'll keep you all quiet because you'll look even more hateful/ jealous if you carry on your narrative

WNBA is in trouble if CC leaves and goes to Europe or joins a competing league.

Right now, I'm more worried about Alyssa Thomas finishing the job on CC in the playoffs. She nearly broke her jaw last time. And, the minute CC goes down, WNBA loses their revenue/viewership. I hope the refs prevent this, but there is a better chance of the sky being purple than that happening.

People claim all of this is just B ball. NOT! You don't see NBA players eating their own. They may haze rooks in good fun (carry all the team's snacks, etc., ) but they actually HELP their rookies, too. Example: Curry has taken multi rookies under his wing and helped them succeed. "Rising waters lifts ALL ships" for sure.

There was no compelling reason for me to watch the WNBA until Caitlin Clark.
The WNBA refuses to acknowledge and embrace a game changing league savior.
CC will keep the WNBA off the charity welfare line. Without her they stay as a pc league with their hats out. The commissioner and the management need to be canned and now.

CC is a star and all the wnba “ladies” are jealous! She is a star and will shrug this off like the champ she is! The television viewership will drop if the @fever are eliminated early! WNBA are missing the boat if they don’t get on the CC train

That's okay. Let others have a chance to shine. But to be honest the primary reason people r going to the Arenas or Stadium is to watch her play not the others.

That poster is not a downer for CC, "SHE" takes pride in seeing her team mates receive recognition.

It reminds me of the saying about blowing out someone else's candle so that yours will seem brighter.

As a Mom, I can feel the hurt Caitlin must be feeling. She's a young 22 year old girl. She deals with everything with such grace but it has to hurt .. deep.

The WNBA was completely happy with what they were doing and they did not care that they had to be funded by the M-NBA. Clark came along and changed all that. NOW, they have to play REAL basketball and they don't like it. I have heard how pathetic this league has been for years and it more than obvious they liked it like it was. If Clark ever leaves the league, EVERYONE will disappear and make them happy again. Hang in there Clark... we love you and good always wins!!

Caitlin doesn't need the "promotion". She's a generational talent and has the guts to face these pedantic, entitled commentators and players.

What is surprising in all of this is the the media and the WNBA know they are snubbing her again. They know it, and they also know what millions of basketball fans think about this bigotry against this 22 yo talent. And knowing WE ALL know, they think (proudly) they're giving us the finger, when in fact they are only risking the demise of the league...sooner or later.

The commissioner should be fired, with the way they have handled Clarke. Insane!!!
