.5 gram is not "the smallest fractional gold you can get" as stated a few times in the video. You can get granular gold shot, you can buy Scottsdale 1/100th oz bars, you can buy 1/1000 troy oz in a GoldBack, and there are other variations all over the place. Texas gold refinery's tiny fractional carded "prepper packs" come to mind for example. Maybe Apmex doesn't sell all of these or any of them, and I am not endorsing or suggesting someone pay such high premiums for tiny gold, but it exists.
