Mr. Connelly, I read your book Chasing the Dime when I was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in '04. It was among a box of various books and authors that were second-hand and shipped to us. Once I picked up the book, I couldn't put it down. You are a great storyteller. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your books, and binge-watched Bosch when I found it online. Titus is the perfect Bosch!

Hi Michael,
A big Guten Tag from Switzerland. I´m so glad I discovered your work two+ years ago. I was looking for novels taking place in Los Angeles. So I found you and was immediately delighted and very much impressed by it.
What I liked from the beginning was the unagitated ductus of your storytelling, the thouroughness and seriousness of HB´s (and MH´s) work (and your writing), and (the feeling of?) the authenticity of the police and legal work and all the inner processes and circumstances in the diverse departments. I tend to believe every word you write😉.
And much, much more.
I am German speeking and read your novels in the original language. Nevertheless, I dare claim to be capable of this appraisal. (Was this/are these proper English sentences anyway... ?)
Btw, it was only later that I realised that the movie Lincoln Lawyer which I like very much is based on your novel of the same name.
