The Arabian society of the past was predominantly organized along tribal lines, with tribes like the Quraysh holding significant influence and power, while others like the Khazraj faced lower social standing. It was within this dynamic atmosphere that Prophet Muhammad, himself from the influential Quraysh tribe, began spreading the message of Islam, emphasizing the equality of all individuals in the eyes of God.
However, it is intriguing to note that, similar to Hindu society, a form of caste system has emerged within the Muslim community in India. In this video, we will delve into the origins and development of caste discrimination among Indian Muslims, seeking a deeper understanding of how and why this phenomenon came to be.

As a muslim, I didn't even know there was discrimination between ourselves! I believe it's all about upbringing. Even if there is no division, people find a way to create it!

Update :-
I finally asked my mother about it. Yes, it exists. We were shielded from it because they never wanted us to grew up as a bigot. Now, I started to recall some incidents. Some madarsa boys stopped and asked me what my name was, i give them my name. But they started asking for my surname name. I gave them my full name and they left me alone Don't know why though. Now I understand what happened.

A very Informative video Mohak, I am an Indian Muslim and I realized one thing, even if Islam doesn't allow casteism, I feel like we Humans have that Nature of Dividing People according to their Race, Religion, Ethnicity. In India when I am within my Hindu Friends, I always feel I am the only Muslim present here, and When I am in UAE, I always feel I am Indian around my Arab Friends.

Being a Muslim I am listening to this for the first time that there is cast systems in Islam. We have never been taught this anywhere. We always know that everyone is equal. The first Azan was given by a slave and his status was very high...

* Surah Al-Hujurat (The Rooms) 49:13: "O mankind, indeed We have created you from a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. And Allah is all-knowing, all-aware."
* Surah Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread) 5:32: "Whoever kills a soul unless it be for a soul or for corruption in the land, it is as if he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as if he has saved the life of all mankind."
* Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2:222: "Allah does not judge based on outward appearances or lineages, but He judges based on righteousness."
* Surah Al-Hujurat (The Rooms) 49:11: "O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule another people who are better than them, nor let women ridicule other women who are better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call one another by offensive nicknames."

Islam is against castism

Upper castes (whether from Hindu, Muslim, Christianity and others) will always be in a constant denial mode, just because aapke sath nahi hua doesn't mean casteism nahi hota.
To solve a problem you will first need to acknowledge there is a problem.
Until upper castes openly oppose caste system or a revolt from lower castes is not done, caste system will be there and the downtrodden are going to suffer life long.

It’s so sad to know this is happening. I’m a Muslim from Maharashtra and thankfully I’ve never encountered any casteism in muslims and I’m hearing these terms for the first time in my life.

As a muslim who has visited several states and bonded with so many other muslims across the country, this casteism is news to me. Seems like this is prevalent mostly in small village communities, similar with casteism in Hinduism also. I's not a problem of cast or religion, it is a problem of education, guys !

I am a 23 years old Muslim I haven't heard words like Ashraf Arzals and all I didn't even know I fall in which category till now .. this video is such an eye opener , I haven't faced any such discrimination nor I Heard about it .. because it's not common but still if there is a problem, we should accept it and try to solve it .. & the main thing is Islam doesn't teach castism nor made any such categories.. it's the Muslim people not Islam, thank for your efforts keep it up 👍
