Rotel updated its flagship CD player with a new onboard DAC, enabling it to wring even better sound from your CD collection than its popular predecessor.

Rotel's previous model, the CD-1572, has been popular with good reason — it combines Rotel's passion for engineering and sound with all the connections you need in a rock-solid chassis with a high-end CD transport. The RCD-1572 MKII keeps all of that, but upgrades the DAC to a premium Texas Instruments chip that takes the player to another level.

The RCD-1572 MKII features balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections for connecting to your power amp or receiver. There's also a digital coaxial output if you want to bypass the internal DAC. Inside, Rotel has continued to refine the signal path to isolate components and virtually eliminate noise that can color your sound.

Rotel focuses its attention on using premium components and smart engineering to provide the best signal integrity possible. Their rich history of producing high-quality, unfussy, functional audio components continues with the RCD-1572 MKII.
