Living close I'm biased but its the best museum, ever. Been 8 times and going again before I pop off to other side, more shops and a pub added since was last there so I must visit and have fish n chips 🤭 be easy now on my mobility scooter but no way going down mine, have a fear lol

I live in Birmingham and I’ve been there a few times and loved it and the nostalgia just loved it but with the new additions regardless of what day of the week it is I think it lets it down by having some of the shops closed. They have gone to a great expense to bring the experience of how life used to be then to find some of the shops closed I just think it’s letting it self down. Saying that will be back in the next couple of weeks and can’t wait.

Pity you missed out - the chip shop do chips cooked in vegetable oil: you just have to wait whilst they cook them especially for you - my family and I are vegetarian too.

This looks fantastic! This would be a great therapy for elderly people with Alzheimer's-it looks like a lot of the"exhibits"-the items in the shops, the busses etc.- could trigger comforting memories

It's the best in the country. The people there are wonderful and so are the people it attracts. Lovely day out, been many times and have taken friends and relatives their. Plus a bonus, if yow want summit to ayt, they serve the best proppa fish in chips in the world. Goo on, av a gud day thear❤

Might have to go for another visit. It's like taking off a tie when i go back to the black country, my old accent comes out. Most of my friends and family are vegetarian. I'm closer to vegan now. Just too lazy to avoid cheese in restaurants!
