Recently I attempted to send my original Elgato Cam Link to get repaired. It will no longer connect to pc or even turn on when plugged into a computer. Attempting to get it repaired, was an odd experience to say the least. Not wanting to talk about individuals, or businesses in a bad light, i simply test something I was told as part of the reason for refusing to attempt repairs.

Thanks. Used this to try to imagine what is affected inside when the camlink USB became bent! it is still working, but just want to make sure I didn't break anything since I bent it back in place a little.

I wish there was an upgrade like a little fan you can attach or if there was a liquid cooling kit for it because this thing overheats so much in 4k..

is the inside of the plastic sprayed with a copper type material to help dissipate heat?
