The ball that went straight through Fowler was like lightning 😳 I played with Graham Thorpe (RIP), at club level, and I remember talking to him just after he'd faced Marshall for the first time. I fancied myself as being pretty sharp back then, but his comments let me know exactly what real pace was like.

That's very rapid..
I used to watch videos as a kid of Marshall bowling in the early - mid 80s and the no.of top batters he got iut fending off their face is incredible. He was extremely scary.
