Thanks. Don't worry about the weight. You can shed 200 grams of weight by taking a pee before a ride. Enjoy the buttery smooth shifting for pocket change.

I love Deore and I think it's truly a drivetrain for everyone. XT and XTR are really nice too and worth it for some, but you can't beat performance and price of good ol Deore.

Deore are very very good I've been using that for 20 years beat the living sht out of it, never issues always smooth always working no difference from XT It's just a couple of grams heavier just much difference in price

Deore is great! One worthy upgrade is an XT shifter pod for better lever feel and dual release levers.

Here's me looking for old school Deore parts to build my budget Norco 6.

Absolutely love Deore stuff.

i got the 10s, an upgrade from tourney. All i can say is that its worth every penny. Smooth shifting even in an up hill climb.

It's very good, good shifting, reliable, pretty well made for longevity and durability for the price

Got the m6100. Works wonders for my very low budget build.

Using Deore with XT shifter on a Sram cassette. Still shifts much better than NX even without hyperglide

Honestly my thoughts on Shimano drivetrains have changed over time because I used to love them until I started riding the Deore drivetrain for a long time and realize that after the first month of using them they fall apart the shifting becomes terrible and it's never back to how it originally feels. So in my opinion I feel like Shimano shifting is inconsistent and you only get the good Crisp shifting the first part of your drivetrains lifetime. Granted everyone has their own opinions and I know there have been people who love Shimano drivetrains but I feel like Sram gives you a more consistent feel and is better when it comes to putting power down but to each his own. Honestly just ride whatever feels the best as long as it's keeping the Stoke alive.

And therefore is excellent on an eMTB as weight doesn’t matter one bit.

You're too rich if you think deore is entry level

It takes 300 Nm all day on my 3kW eBike. More expensive stuff would fold in half.

Old 9sp Deore was very good, got the 11sp and 12sp new Deore and didn't liked looks cheap and don't work that good.

Shit before a ride and save 600 grams. Give yourself an enema and save 800+ grams.
