Fabulous stuff. I really like Phil's kits & have built two of these Hudsons. I kept tweaking the first one (4 wheel drive being the biggest tweak) so built another. I was planning to weather it, like all my other stuff, but somehow it's become pride of the fleet!!

Cracking loco and layout. I'm nearly finished building my own and, weirdly, I put the "button" on as a radiator cap too and have a similar exhaust stack ready to go on. Love the patina. Cheers

That is brilliant some great inspiration. I am currently modifying an HGLW 040 loco, it is surprising what you can achieve with a few scraps. The weathering is exceptional on this model.

Looks amazing! I'm currently scratchbuilding a similar loco design, hope it turns out half as nice.

Where did you find the model for the driver? I've tried scaling up some that I've used for HO, but since they were intended for a smaller size they lack a certain character.
