Chaos & Confusion Prevail In Karnataka Over Hijab Row, High Court To Resume Hearing Today

Karnataka High Court will resume its hearing on hijab showdown today.

Earlier on Thursday, a petitioner filed a public interest litigation asking a full bench of the Karnataka high court to allow Muslim girls to sport the hijab at least on Fridays (jumma) and during the upcoming month of Ramzan.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I am a Muslim and I am a Hijabii... In my School there are so many Statues of Jesus(peace be upon him) and Mother Mary(peace be upon her)... and I have seen schools which have the Paintings of Hindu Gods... and my Non Muslim friends wear their Religious Bracelets, Pendants and so on... and they keep the photos of their God in their Pouches... and my Teachers wear Sindooram and their wedding chain which has a Pendant of their God's image... And my Principal wear the Christian's Head Scarf... there is even a Church inside my school... and We have no problem with these... because We Respect Your Religion, Your Dressing and Your Religious Practices (we Respect NOT Encourage)... So why can't you Respect Ours??? In Schools they should teach Students how to respect other religions... Because when they grow up and go out in the Society, they should know how to respect other religions... But now they are teaching them how to fight with other religions... What will happen to these students when they grow up??? Will they continue to criticize Muslims and try to take off their Hijabs???

WE GO TO SCHOOL NOT ONLY TO LEARN WHAT IS IN THE TEXTBOOK... BUT ALSO TO LEARN HOW TO RESPECT OTHER RELIGIONS AND HOW TO BEHAVE IN THE SOCIETY...

Also... Women are not Oppressed in islam...
Let me ask you a simple question...
Why do you keep your money inside a wallet??? Why do you Cover your money??? Are you Oppressing your money???
No... You are not Oppressing it... You are Covering it because it's Valuable... and you are Protecting it...
Likewise, We are so Valuable to Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)... so Allah(SWT) instructs us to Cover ourselves... Because Allah(SWT) wants to Protect us... Subhanallah🤲

Let me give you another example...

As you know we are in a Pandemic situation... So, Government instructed all of us to wear a Mask... We all know that the Villian is Corona Virus... But We are lessening the probability of Corona virus attacking us by wearing a mask... Will you fight with the Government by saying that the Villian is Corona Virus so you should control it and don't oppress the people by instructing them to wear the mask??? Will you???
No.. Because you know that the Government is not Oppressing us.. They are trying to protect us...
Likewise, Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) is not oppressing us instead Allah(SWT) is protecting us...

Just imagine that 2 Women are walking together in a park... One women is wearing a loose dress and has covered her whole body except for her face and hands upto the wrist and she has covered her chest using her head scarf... And the other women is wearing a tight dress and shows off her arms, legs, ... and is wearing an attractive makeup and ornaments... and her hair is flying in the air... And there came a pervert.. Who do you think the pervert will stare at??? Who do you think he will flirt with???
We all know that the fault is with the pervert(as we know that Corona virus is the Villian)... But shouldn't we try our best to lessen the possibility of pervert attacking us (as we wear mask to lessen the possibility of Corona virus affecting us)... Of course it's the pervert's mistake but we don't know who is a pervert and who is not. So we better cover ourselves(as we wear mask whenever we go out because we don't know who is affected with Corona virus and who is not)... I am not saying we won't get attacked because we are fully covered(as no one can guarantee we won't get affected by Corona Virus because we wear a mask)... But there is a very high possibility that we won't get attacked...

Also..There are instructions for men as well.. Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) first instructed men to Lower their Gaze and Guard their Modesty... Only after that Allah(SWT) instructed women to do so... Only the Extend of our clothing are different because we have different physical features... Other than that they also shouldn't wear Tight dress, Transparent dress, Attractive dress, ... They also should Dress Modestly...

For reference : Surah:An-Noor, Chapter:24, Verse:30

قُلْ لِّـلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ يَغُـضُّوۡا مِنۡ اَبۡصَارِهِمۡ وَيَحۡفَظُوۡا فُرُوۡجَهُمۡ‌ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ اَزۡكٰى لَهُمۡ‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ خَبِيۡرٌۢ بِمَا يَصۡنَـعُوۡن
Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

WE WON'T TAKE OFF OUR HIJAB... We won't Disobey the God's Command... We won't give up on Our Rights and Freedom... We won't give up on both Hijab and Education...

College allowed them inside the premises with hijab, gave a separate room to remove hijab and asked them to enter class room. If students don't want to remove hijab they could have sit in that room peacefully, why to stand outside to feed media. No idea.
With present technology, all can learn from home and work from home too safely without stepping out / interacting with anyone / leaving the comfort zone and can live as per the holy book fully. Girls pls do not waste time in protests, instead empower yourself whatever way you feel comfortable. Go home and study online anything you like and gain knowledge.

To sum up, while the high court's interim order can be used to justify hijab bans in certain government-run PU colleges, it CANNOT be used to justify hijab bans in the following:

Government-run degree colleges and institutes of higher education

Government-aided and private colleges of all levels

Schools up till Class 10

Means you can wear hijab in all above 3 cases and if someone stops then you can give a complaint against college authorities as they are not following high court's interim order.
