The Story of Petitti's: 50 Years & Growing

This Shop Local Saturday, we are humbled to share with you the story of Petitti Garden Centers, as we mark the 50th anniversary year of this locally grown and family owned business. Founded by Angelo Petitti in 1971, Petitti’s operates 9 locations serving the Cleveland, Akron-Canton, and Youngstown communities of Northeast Ohio. The story of the Petittis as told by the Petittis, this video takes you on a journey from Angelo’s humble beginnings to today, detailing the challenges and opportunities of running a family business over the course of 50 years, and illustrating the unique and special aspects, and European influences, that make it unlike any other garden center in the country. Viewers are introduced to the family members plus the greenhouse and farmland growing facilities, while gaining an understanding for what differentiates Petitti’s and powers the organization’s standards for quality, selection, and service. Petitti’s is a labor of love for 50 years and growing that has been supported by friends, family, employees, and the community and, ultimately, as Angelo says, “When I see people enjoying their day at the garden center, that is the thing that I enjoy. To me, that is the goal”.

I was lucky enough to visit the garden in Canton Ohio and let me tell ya, their house plants are very impressive. In most stores plants are on the small size with a big dollar amount but at Petitti you get more foliage for your buck. I would love to visit again! I bought home 4 plants and 2 pots and live 4 hours away

The Petitti's are a wonderful family. This video shows the struggles, perseverance, dedication & love they have for each other & the Northeast Ohio area. Petitti's Garden centers are beautiful, their staff is knowledgeable & friendly, & their products are the very best. Visiting one of the Garden Centers is a "mini-vacation". Dio vi benedica!
