Hey Jacki, you should try the Crayola Hanging Planter Craft Kit. I got it as a present and had a lot of fun with it. And it did include almost everything I needed. The only thing that was missing was varnish. You should really give it a shot.

To be honest you can just melt some chocolate in the microwave and put it in a water bath to keep it warm, buy some molds for about £5 then pour your own from a piping bag and that would be better than the first kit.

I got one of these for my daughter for Christmas last year, and she was super excited to use it. We put the entire pack of chocolate in the warmer, and whatever we didnt use we could just leave in the warmer and lift the piece off to put in the fridge for next time. All in all, you can just use the pen for the fine parts, you dont need the tool, just shake the molds after filling to get the air bubbles out. I thought it was a cute activity for my daughter, who was 4, and she loves it still, but it is a lot of cleaning up for the small amount of results, if they arent eaten immediately after being made. We like it but not for $40!

My daughter, after having a disastrous experience with a craft kit today -- "Crayola needs to stick with crayons!"

In my experience as a nail tech with foil...you need a water-based top coat to keep the foil.effect so the top dries...if you use a "regular" nail polish over the foil, this will crack and lost the "oil-slick" effect and will take ages to dry...i know is for kids but teenagers and grown-ups can use a UV gel top coat to stick the foil, and cure it under the LED lamp :)

If you add flavoring, use candy Oil. Flavorings with water will cause your chocolate seize (gets clumps). You can relax the clumps with a few drops of veg oil, heating and stirring it in.
